2018 E350 . This is a class C RV . Replaced GEM module to repair power window failure.Final step is to config GEM module . Learn TPMS and program in 2 transmitters. Vehicle does not have TPMS or remotes . No option to choose not equipped. Will not close out programming. Interior light flashing.
Any one have any knowledge on this ? Was going to try As Built then Forscan if needed.

Would you only need the listed GM ECU set up at $1400 to do ECM/BCM /TCM on GM ?

Could BCM you have come from a Transponder equipped veh ?
I don’t think factory alarm is going to allow start and stall. Should kill starter. -

You can still order a Isuzu card for tech2 . I bought one just a few months ago along with a new cable . Was not expensive.
On another note I have bought new ECM and IMmo box for a few of these .Had to eprom the key still after they showed up . Other then that swap and go !

Question , the dash comes programmed from Ford with 80233 in it .
you just reprogrammed mileage with APP to the same 80233?

Just did 2003 Impala using TIS . In Body under Radio ,Relearn.No need for Vin from donor car.Have done a few Cadillac.They removed the feature on some newer but if you go back a few years on veh selection it sometimes works.
Customer said old radio was draining battery so they disconnected it 10 years ago. Someone wrote no sound on old radio .Now selling car .buys radio from junkyard pays me to unlock it . Guess what radio on ,no sound.Look under rear deck at amplifier . All unplugged ! Plug in Radio works .Old guy happy can sell car now Can’t drive anymore !

On some you can trick it with Tech 2 by choosing a earlier year .

Used Autel to do Used ECM swap. Must start with orig ECM installed read info then transfer.Autel failed to program prox back to vehicle but Zed Full finishes the job.

Installed a new BCM in 2003 Impala today.Used Tech2Win to do set up.Set the Vin ,Country Code and the options by build tag.Didnt give a lot of options ,Daytime running lights,Auto lights ,police car.After set up you need to unlock the radio with the tech2 then switch over to Tis2000 and do a Security relearn.Start car all seems ok.Air bag light is out now but the Keyless entry does not work. Tried to program won’t take it.I used it to open trunk when I started ?Back in to setup on BCM turn on RFA and program fob in.How does RFA stand for Keyless entry ?

Anyone swap a PCM/ECM on VW ?wondering what tools necessary to complete.Have 2012 Jetta needling new PCM .Also 2007 Jetta with new Cluster.

So Key is being changed also?Is key and remote the only part that needs programming?
would be nice to know if you can obtain the conversion and complete with Maxisys.

According to a friend and a Hyundai Master Tech. The vin cannot be changed with there tools.New ECM required.Maybe something could be done by EPROM if old ECM is around.He also stated there ECM rarely fail without help.

Grounds! These and several GM models are notorious for bad grounds .Will cause no stars intermittent problems.Had a Chevy Cruze a few months back they replaced ECM,BCM still same issues . Ended up being main engine ground corroded.

Shop could not locate a ECM for the Isuzu .Picked up one for a Trailblazer. Reflashed with TIS 2000 .Everything went well security light out but would not start. Even though security light was out there was still a code for theft .Did a theft relearn and good to go.Dont always trust the light.

If your slow and own a j2534 you may want to reach out to your local Jasper rep. Guy called me this morning needing transmissions programmed that they sold. Originally they were loaning out a Jbox /PC setup but they are way behind on availability. Already have 3 to do.
