Thank you Ben and Shannon for your information. I wasn't getting signal from the module . I found a bad fuse (2 amp ) under the hood. so no module replacement.
You don't say. I get lot's o' calls about: "My car in security mode can you fix?" Nine times out'a ten, on GM products, it's a fuse. Goofy customers replacing the battery with ignition key on or reversed polarity or something careless customer related. All's well that ends well.

Only as long as your favorite programmer is a Tech2 with either TIS2000 NAO installed on an XP laptop or a TIS to WEB subscription. Oh, you can program keys in to the TDM with an aftermarket programmer, but only the Tech2 is ordained to perform nuptials between the TDM and the rest of the vehicle.

GM's a bunch of douchenozzles too. I got a GM parts buddy I've known for 20 years. He couldn't sell me a Tech2. Not wouldn't, couldn't. He did manage to sneak me the latest linear flash card though.

Ain't no shit neither. Just had a Jasper tranny replaced under warranty in my Express Van. My HEAVY mechanic installed both, only this time, Jasper didn't send the programmer, & claimed, "We don't do that on mo". He freaked, but I'm like F-IT! No problemo. Just swap that pig out & I'll flash it myself. I just need my van back on the road ASAP! CAN'T GET A GD V8 EXPRESS VAN RIGHT NOW!
