I put things back to OEM spec, unless there something 100% preventing it from happening.

Yes. You need to enter a pin. You don’t need to obtain the original. It will take any pin you assign. This is different than needing the existing vehicles pin code

SIK 6 cut kit is one of the best tools ever. We made a set to use on normal 6 cut keyways besides b62av vats. Used it so many times over the years I have lost count.
