Update. Added skim programmed key car starts and runs. After plugging in the skim and turning the key on the security start flashing in the the dash. Then did a skim vin edit , program key , transfer secret key car starts and runs. Thanks.

I had discussed this possibility with my customer when I was there. Since the PCM wasn't sourced locally I think he would rather add the immo parts than try dealing with sending the PCM back and finding the non trans PCM. We'll find out. Thanks

I was asked to take a look at this 2001 Dodge Durango non transponder by a shop I do work for. It came in with a intermittent working PCM. The shop order a used PCM that matches the P / N number from a reputable company they have used before. So right now it starts and runs with the original PCM. When the donor PCM is installed it starts and dies. I did a vin edit with cardaq but didn't change the start and die. It's acting like it's looking for a transponder. I've done plenty of PCM swaps with transponder equipt cars but this is not one I've seen before. If the donor PCM came from a transponder equipt car will this cause this issue? If I do write the calibration files for the cars vin will it overwrite the donor cars calibration and deactivate the VTSS and allow it to run?
